Project Description

Mi-Kyung (Miki) Hong is an assistant professor in the department of public health and health equity, Mills College (Oakland, CA).  She conducts research on the US Citizenship and Immigration Services Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination to ascertain the health-related grounds for inadmissibility of refugees and asylees applying for admission into the United States.  Miki received her BA from Columbia University, a post-baccalaureate pre-medical certificate from Mills College, an MPH and an executive MHSA, both from the University of Michigan.
