The Refugee and Asylum Seeker Initiative (RAHI) at UCSF is pleased to invite you to its 5th annual UCSF/ZSFG Refugee Health Symposium: Refugee Migration Through the Generations.

This virtual symposium will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM PST. The keynote panel, “Refugee Migration Through the Generations,” is a discussion of health experiences across waves of refugee migration from the 1970s to present. The second half of the symposium will exhibit new and innovative resources in refugee health.

The UCSF/ZSFG Refugee Health Symposium brings together refugee health experts across disciplines in an annual opportunity to discuss current issues and ongoing research in refugee health. Each year, the Symposium focuses on major current themes in forced displacement. This year it will showcase the health impacts of forced migration across generations, with speakers from different waves of refugee migration over the past several decades, from the 1970s to present.
